Attendance Matters
As we begin the new semester, we want to remind families of the critical role regular attendance plays in student success. High school courses move quickly, and students who miss more than 30 percent of their classes, roughly one in every three instructional days, experience significant learning gaps that are very difficult to recover from.
While illnesses and unavoidable absences do happen, consistent attendance is essential for strong academic progress. We appreciate your partnership in helping students be present, engaged, and ready for learning each day.
Robotics Qualifier's Tournament at Mandela
We’re excited to be hosting a robotics tournament at our school on Sunday, February 8. Students from Team 7277 and Team 21595 will be competing one last time for a spot at the Provincial Championships in Red Deer. Our students have worked incredibly hard to reach this stage, showing dedication, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the season. They would love the opportunity to share this experience with our school community and feel your support as they compete. Thank you for all your support throughout the semester.
