Bistro Offerings I want to thank all the students who asked questions and advocated for more options being offered in the Bistro. The Culinary team, starting next week (October 30th) will be offering at least two veggie entrees a week. They will also add a GF indicator next to the entrees that are prepared gluten free. One thing that is important to note is that the food prepared is driven by the Culinary Arts Curriculum. There are modules dedicated to working with meat and that is why there will continue to be meat offerings. If you have some ideas for entrees, don't hesitate to share them with an Assistant Principal or myself. Winter Weather With the change to more winter-like weather, we want to remind families and students to be prepared for these changing conditions. The school doors are open at 7:45am when tutorials are happening. It is also important to note that while our Facilities staff try their best to keep entrances clear and ice free, this can be a challenge. Please use caution when in the parking lot and entering the building. Congratulations Congratulations to our United Football team and their big win over Lester B. Pearson last Thursday. With this win, the team made the playoffs and will take on John G. Diefenbaker on Friday at 4:30pm. Go United! |
