Meet the Teacher
We would like to invite all students and their families to attend our Meet the Teacher evening on Thursday September 14th. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the school and supports in place as well as some of the programming that is provided through our multiple community partners. This is not an opportunity to discuss your specific student with their teachers, but if you do have specific questions, do not hesitate to email your student's teachers with your questions. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided on Thursday evening and it will run from 5pm-7pm. There will be a short presentation at 5:30 in the Stadium.
Student Attendance
If your child is going to miss any class, it is important that a parent/guardian calls this is to ensure it is not recorded as unexcused. Teachers will be contacting families when students have 3 or more unexcused absences to ensure they are addressing the issue early and to support students. Teachers are required to maintain accurate attendance, if there is a dispute as to whether your student missed class or not, please contact the teacher directly.
