Start-Up 

With the first week now complete, we want to thank students and the larger learning community for an excellent start-up! We continue to monitor enrolment and ensure classes are balanced and the Success Centre is working hard to facilitate course change requests where possible. With over 2000 students we commit to ensuring students get their requested classes, but we cannot accommodate a class with a particular teacher or at a particular time. 

Transfers 

If you are receiving this email, it means you have a student enrolled at Nelson Mandela High School. If your student will not be attending Nelson Mandela for the 2025-2026 school year, please call 403-817-3500 and share with the front office where your student will be attending. 

Yearbook

Yearbook Club is looking for volunteers!

Grade 12s, do you want quotes this year? That only happened last year because of volunteers! 

Athletes, do you want to make sure the best memories are the ones that make it to the yearbook? That only happens with volunteers!
Student Club members, do you want the best parts of your club highlighted? That only happens with volunteers!

Fine Art students, do you want to find places to show up all the great stuff you do? That only happens with volunteers!

Yearbook Club meets in the Upper LC after school on Tuesdays. Our first meeting is September 9th!
